As part of our Quality month celebrations ,School of Education and Humanities in collaboration with Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA), Manav Rachna University, organized one week online National level Short Term Training Program (STTP) on the theme ‘Excellence in Research as a Path to Quality Assurance’ from 18th November 2024 to 24th November 2024. The STTP was intended to equip the participants with advanced research methodologies enhancing the required skills critical in conducting quality research, data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination. In line with the significant thrust being placed by National Education Policy 2020 on nurturing research acumen among the stakeholders in academia, the STTP intended to foster the culture of research excellence by providing a structured platform where participants could learn and adopt cutting-edge research techniques and best practices. The target groups for the event were professionals from academia and industry, research scholars and students. The Demographic profile of the participants was representative of diversity in terms of educational qualification and professional affiliation of the participants. The STTP was spread across ten technical sessions with pertinent themes covered by expert resource person for every session, ranging from research design, data management, publication ethics, and dissemination of findings, along with targeting research funding and filing copy right and patent. The rich experience and expertise of the eminent resource persons from prestigious national and international institutions was the hallmark of the event. The interactive and engaging discussions along with hands-on activities made all the sessions fruitful and enriching for participants as authenticated with their overwhelming positive feedback and inputs of having more of such capacity building initiatives in future as well.
