About the Department

The Department of Humanities and Language seeks to create pro-active citizens and everyday leaders. It supports excellence in education through a diverse, dynamic, and personalized academic environment that emphasizes engaged learning. We educate students to embody holistic knowledge, inspire critical & innovative thinking, possess dynamic, oral as well as written communication skills, and become global citizens. We encourage the students for their active participation in extra-curricular activities which provides a holistic educational experience and also helps to prepare students to become responsible, conscientious members of society. In addition, this education and training will equip students to make positive changes in their personality.

Moreover, the Department facilitates English Language to Management students, B Tech as well as Science Graduates, aiming at producing well-rounded individuals, who can question and critique, emphasize and motivate the larger motif, being, enhancing a questioning attitude, eliciting creativity over conjectural thought processes. Social, Cultural and Political outlooks also remain one of the highlighted thrusts.
