Q.1. Are all programmes offered by Faculty of Education regular?

Ans.1. All the programmes/courses ( Except  PGDELM ) in the Faculty of Education are in regular mode.

Q.2. What is the process of admission to the program?

Ans. 2. Candidate needs to fill online form at manav rachna online admission portal with the prescribed fee. Admission shall be made on merit on MRNAT.

Q.3. What is our reservation policy for programmes at Manav Rachna University?

Ans.3.  Manav Rachna University presently follows the reservation policy as under:

  • NRI/Foreign National/PIO seats: 5% in all programmes.
  • General Seats: 95% (25% seats are reserved for Haryana domicile students, of which 10% seats are for the SC candidates of Haryana).
  • Kashmiri Migrants: 1 seat in merit quota for all the programmes.

Q.4. If result is awaited for qualifying examination can we apply for the courses?

Ans. 4. Yes, a provisional admission can be provided to those candidates whose result is awaited of qualifying examination. However copy of the final result needs to be submitted within one month from the date of commencement of the classes.

Q.5. Does MRU arrange for Educational loan through banks?

Ans.5. Educational loans are provided by all Nationalized Banks and the individual student has to approach the Bank of his/her choice.

Q.6. Is the loan facility available only to candidates who belong to NCR?

Ans.6. No, loan facility is available for students all over India subject to fulfillment of conditions stipulated by the bank extending the education loan.

Q.7. What flexibility/ installments can a candidate opt at the time of payment of fees?

Ans.7. Twice in a year.

Q.8. What are the deadlines for admission?

Ans.8. The last date for submitting completed application form is given in Admission Brochure.

Q.9. Is there any scholarship pattern for the meritorious students?

Ans.9. Yes, there are scholarship pattern for the meritorious students that functions according to the University norms. 

Q.10. For entrance exams is there any prescribed syllabus for students?

Ans.10 It is based on Teaching Aptitude, GK, Comprehension etc.

Q.11. What are the different payment options available?

Ans.11. Demand Draft, Paytm, Online-Transfer and Option for Credit and Debit card is also available.

Q.12. What are our placement initiatives and what has been the record of placement?

Ans.12. MRU has a central placement cell named CRCMC that takes care of the university placements.

Q.13. Are sufficient books available in Library?

Ans. 13. Yes, we have a well stocked library with wide variety of books.

Q.14. What are the library timings?

Ans.14.  The Timings for Central Library is from Monday to Saturday is 8:00am to 4:00pm and on Sunday it is 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Q.15. Which schools are offered for teaching practice?

Ans.16.Students will be going to Manav Rachna International School and Government School for teaching practice/Internsip.

Q.17. What are the university (staff) working hours?      

Ans. 17. Timings for: classes 8:00am- 4:00pm

Q.18. Is the campus Wi-Fi enabled?

Ans. 18. Yes, it is Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with latest computing facilities. All computers are connected to the internet with a bandwidth of 45 Mbps.

Q.19. Is course material provided by the University or the books are included in the fees structure? 
Ans. 19. Facility of e- library is available and the course material is uploaded on the intranet.

Ans.21. Following labs are available:

Q.22.What is the mode of transport and fees structure of the same?

Ans.22. University buses are commuting all over Delhi NCR. Fees structure gets revised every year.

Q.23. What will be the medium of instruction?

Ans.23. The medium of instruction will be English.

 

Bachelor of Education(B.Ed)

Q1. What is the eligibility criterion for admission?

Ans.1. Candidates having passed with minimum 50% or more marks aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto shall be eligible to apply for admission to a B. Ed program.

“A relaxation in cut- off percentage up to 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirements will be given to Kashmiri migrants”.

Q.2. What is the duration of course?

Ans.2. The duration of course is two years (four semesters). The maximum duration to complete the program is three years.

Ans.3. For a program the academic year shall normally comprise Odd semester (Jan to May) &Even semester (July to Dec).

Ans.4. Yes.

B.Ed Special Education (Learning Disability) *

Q1.  What is the eligibility criterion for admission?

Ans.1.B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. or an equivalent degree at graduate level depending on the requirements of being the school subject for pedagogical courses

Ans.7. Yes, all students will be going for teaching practice/internship according to RCI Guidelines.

Integrated B.Sc/B.A. B.Ed

Q.1. What is the eligibility criterion for admission?

Ans.1. Candidates having passed with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination that is senior secondary (10+2) in Science/Arts/Commerce shall be eligible to apply for admission to a Integrated B.Sc./B.A. B.Ed program.

Q.2. What is the duration of course?

Ans.2. The duration of course is four years (eight semesters). The maximum duration to complete the program is six years.

Q.3. What is the duration of the semester?

Ans.3. For a program the academic year shall normally comprise Odd semester (Jan to May) & Even semester (July to Dec).

Ans.1. Q.1. What is the eligibility criterion for admission?

Ans.1.Graduate (with English as medium of Instruction)

Candidates having passed with minimum 50% or more marks aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree shall be eligible to apply for admission to Certificate Course in Early Childhood Care and Education

Q.2. What is the duration of course?

Ans.2. The duration of course is 9 months which is spread across three quarters. The maximum duration to complete the program is 15 months.

Q.3. What is the duration of the quarter?

Ans.3. For a program the each quarter comprises of three months of intense regular training.
