MRU and Quick Heal Technologies join hands to offer program in Cyber Security & Threat Intelligence

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between Manav Rachna University (MRU) and Quick Heal Technologies to offer B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Cyber Security and Threat Intelligence program, with effect from the academic session 2020.

As per a recentNASSCOM report, India alone would need 1 million cyber security professionals by 2020. The B.Tech. CSE program with specialization in Cyber Security and Threat Intelligence shall prepare an employable workforce to address this gap. The curriculum design and course material will be delivered by industry experts from Quick Heal Academy. Regular Tech-Talks, Webinars and Seminars by experts shall be organized during the program. Quick Heal shall also be providing Placement & Internship support to the students pursuing the program.

Manav Rachna University has signed MOU with Altair & Designtech Systems

The MoU entails the setting up of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) which will have world-class infrastructure facility to work on CAE related projects. This is the first such CoE at a University in North India. Manav Rachna University will conduct formal courses (part of the curriculum) for students. It will also offer regular short-term training programs as per the needs of the industry.

The Centre of Excellence will undertake:

  • Training in formal subjects at graduate and post-graduate level
  • Laboratory classes
  • Joint research projects
  • Short-term and Continuing Education Programs
  • Induction Training for new recruits of Altair Engineering

Manav Rachna University has signed MOU with Foundation for Glocal Science Initiatives (FGSI) who has expertise in event planning, & promoting national and international events and participants.

MOU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) I. K Bhat, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad and Er. Anuj Sinha, Chairman FGSI. Other members of both the organizations were also present in the ceremony.

MRU signed MOU with Vivek International for collaborative battery research

Manav Rachna University has singed MOU with Vivek International, Faridabad for promoting research and scientific work related to Lead Acid batteries for household, automobiles and e-rickshaw.

MOU was signed by Dr. Pradeep K. Varshney, Dean Research, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad and Mr. Ravindra Mishra, Vivek International. Dr. B.M. Bahal, Dean Applied Sciences, Manav Rachna University and Mr. Sandeep Mishra, Vivek International were also present.

MRU signed MOU with Atal Incubation Centre, BIMTECH

Manav Rachna University has singed MOU with Atal Incubation Centre-BIMTECH, Greater Noida, supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India. The MOU has been signed for mutual Incubation support in terms of mentoring and 2nd round of funding for startups under all three categories Khoj, Gurukul and Udaan.

MOU was signed by Dr. H. Chaturvedi, Director BIMTECH, Greater Noida and Dr. Pradeep K. Varshney, Dean Research, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. Dr. Abha Rishi, CEO, Atal Incubation Centre- BIMTECH and other team members were also present.

MoU between MRU and Sahai Research Labs

The department of ECE, MRU signed a MoU with Sahai Research Labs, Greater Noida on August 6, 2019. Sahai Research Labs is a research focused organization committed to develop low cost healthcare products and technologies and aimed at transforming lives of poor and needy people across the globe. They work across the industry verticals in areas like iOT, FPGAs, Embedded Systems, High Level Synthesis etc. Sahai Research Labs would float real life R&D projects from industry to be executed by Graduate/ Under Graduate students of the university which would give them exposure to cutting edge and latest technologies making difference to the society.

All guidance and help would be provided by industry professionals from Sahai Research Labs and other participating organizations. The lab would be open for students and professionals from outside the institute as well who would be working on these projects and need to attend sync up meetings, project trainings etc. Sahai Research Labs would be conducting workshops (open for all) on cutting edge technologies in the same lab from time to time. These workshops would include topics of general interest and may be outside the scope of the projects.

The MoU signing was encouraged and graced by Prof. I. K. Bhat, Vice-Chancellor, Manav Rachna University along with Prof. Sangeeta Banga, Dean Academics, Prof. Pradeep Kr. Varshney, Dean Research, Prof. Shruti Vashist Dean Students & Welfare and HoD ECE.
