Universities/Colleges participated in an array of competitions and workshops

Many innovative projects including a Cleansing Robot, Robotic Arm, Face Recognition App for patients with Alzheimer, and many more.

The 14 different workshops ranging from ‘New Product Development’ to ‘Hands-on-training – Lathe operation’ were a learning experience. Young students (till Grade V) gave expression to their imagination in the ‘Best out of Waste’ competition. Many leading organizations had set up their display in the Industrial Experience Zone.

For those who like to do things in ‘style’ there was a road map to style which took the engineers of fashion to hone their creative skills. School and college students enrolled in good numbers and gave fashion a brand new dimension.

Swastika

Swastika is an online platform allows two way interaction between donors and NGOs, it provides a solution to those who want to donate but have difficulty in finding appropriate and needful NGO’s nearby. The plus point is that it also gives a portal for NGO’s that helps them to seek and request for help in form of funds or resources from targeted audience.

Swastika has an inbuilt discussion forums portal that allows both NGO’s and donor to share thought, concerns, questions with everyone and start a thread of opinions or it can be used to gather participants and volunteers for an activity.

There is a special feature for broadcasting urgent help and request messages thus adding social integrity to the platform. Swastika supports all NGOs on one platform, Skill development, Decrease in poverty ratio, Opportunity for transgender, International development

IRRI-BOT

Irri-bot is to design a controlled Robot which will be used in farms for pruning and planting. Irri-bot is designed and developed to reduce the man power and increase the efficiency in the field of agriculture by the means of robotics. Moreover the robot is able to conserve resources.

Irri-bot is capable of determining the condition of the soil and produce a map which can be used to determine which part of the agricultural land needs care and what are the essential components which will improve it. Apart from these features the robot will be able to spray pesticides evenly.

The Bot will also be able to identify weeds and remove them from the soil which will determine the proper growth of the plant. The bot is integrated with sensors which will determine soil health. The simulation will be used to plot data over the last few weeks about soil health. The farmers will be notified about basic farming techniques and will be updated about new techniques and government schemes.

Clientele-Farmers will be benefitted the most from this machine because of its low cost, high productivity and high accuracy.

This project was developed by B.Tech students namely Mr. Dhruv Rohatgi, Mr. Siddharth Srivastava, Simran Choudhary, Snigdha Pokhriyal.

Queryjunction.com is a platform who connects across the globe to come up with new community. In-fact a better and smart community.

The smart pollution sensor

This device senses the dust pollution around itself and logs the data on a web server so that the sensor data can be monitored remotely. The sensor output is calibrated in terms of milligram per cubic meter and microgram per cubic meter.

Plant-O-Bot

Plant-O-Bot is a mobile plant watering system which can be used in farms to water the plants as well as in the households, it was developed by the first year students of the 2015 batch of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies namely Devdutt, Ishlok Vashistha.

Driving Simulator

Driving Simulator is a system designed for the kids (for gaming purpose) as well as for the elders for learning to drive, it is very user friendly. It was made by Devdutt, student of ECE branch FET, MRIIRS.

RFID Entry System

Radio Frequency Identification System is very cost effective and secure to use. Many people do not realize how easy it is to implement card access systems such as card access door or doors using RFID readers and RFID Cards or Key fobs for Secured Access Control Management. You can even use smart readers for computer rooms and securing individual computers. The stand out feature of this project is the casing is 3D Printed. It was developed by Devdutt student of ECE branch FET, MRIIRS.

Biometric Bus Attendance Machine

This innovation was made by a third year FET, ECE student Devduttwhich presents an approach towards developing an electronic system and a mobile based application to monitor the commute of students plying on different routes. The mobile based application as developed in android is platform independent. It presents the designing and functioning of both the equipment and the software. School Buses are reliable source as it provides safe, reliable service to the students and their parents. This system follows an IOT based approach proving a way for parents as well as the transport department to track the route of the buses. Moreover, attendance of each student is marked using a biometric system as soon as the student gets on or off the bus and a message containing the drop or pickup location and time is sent to the parent. The login process allows only the authorized personnel to get access of the data allowing parents/students to send feedback to the transport department in case of any queries and concerns. All the student and bus details are stored in a database located at a remote server which is accessed by the android application using Rest API.

Enviro

EnvirO is a multi platform game developed in MRIIC for the Imagine cup 2017 entry. It was developed by IshlokVashistha student of ECE branch of FET, MRIIRS.

Project Shwaas

Shwaas is designed to help anyone who has consumed alcohol to make smarter choices before getting behind the wheel. Shwaas plugs into your smartphone’s headphone jack and after you download the accompanying app and secure the device, all you do is blow into the device to register your BAC (Blood Alcohol Consumption) http://www.shwaasapp.com/

Dental Posture Correction System

Practicing the art of dentistry requires a high degree of concentration and precision. But awkward postures, repetitious hand movements, and persistent vibration to the hand and wrist from a high-speed hand piece can make practitioners vulnerable to pain, injury. The gadget comes with a mobile phone application to monitor postures and guiding the user for the correct postures.

Project’ GRIWADITI’

Team Eyeluminati from ManavRachna won Jury’s choice award for their idea’ GRIWADITI which is an automated, non-invasive and easily accessible screening tool for Cervical Cancer. Griwaditi is a point-of -care portable imaging device which used advanced optical techniques to produce high resolution magnified images of the cervix. It has a unique cervical cancer lesion detection algorithm to quickly screen cervical cancer. The remote diagnostic application allows images to be shared for consultation with experts around the world via a cloud based tele-oncology platform.

Solar Driven Car: Award Winning Project

Solar Driven Car, a final year project of Automobile Engineering department, students of MRIIRS has bagged the 1st Runner-Up position in the ‘Student Innovator of the Year’ award category at the Indian Automotive Technology and Innovation Awards (IATIA) for the year 2016.

The award was given for application ‘Enhancement of Electric Vehicles with Safety Devices’. The designed and developed vehicle comprises of innovations such as Ultra-capacitor, Three-dimensional solar panel charging, Electronic gadgets (like G.P.S navigation system, overloading sensing system, security system), Pre-collision indication, Chassiswith impact indicating sensors, Vehicle to Vehicle communication using Bluetooth, an Automatic roof water collector. Apart from these innovations, the team has also achieved stable efficiency through- charging the battery from the solar panels, fabricating vehicle chassis with high strength-light weight density, interfacing the controller with arduino to have less intake of current and initial power delivers to motor by ultra capacitor to eliminate voltage fluctuation of batteries.

Besides, these prototype projects the students have also developed a large number of projects including Smart Extension Board, Schedulable Extension Board, Universal Remote (Android App Based), IOT Based Home Automation System, Smart Dust Bin, Real Time Weather Monitoring System, Electric Wheel Chair, Biometric Secured Access System, Black Box for Vehicles and many more.
