Workshop on Solar Power and Its Application in various fields

Department of Mathematics conducted a workshop on Solar Power and Its Application in various fields with the help of The Centre Of Smart Solar Energy on 17^th March, 2017. The objective of this workshop was to bring about interest among students in the field of Solar Energy. They were introduced to DC technology and how it can be extracted from the available source of energy so that they can use te same for various applications in their daily life. Hands-on sessions were provided to the students to know about the impact of shading, temperature, load and irradiation on solar panels. The students of BSc. (H) Mathematics along with Dr. A.K. Awasthi, Dr. Ruchi Gupta and Ms. Shehnaz attended the workshop under the guidance of Mr. Hemant Sapra. It motivated the students to further work and take interest in this field.
