Workshop on NDT/BOBATH Perspective in Adult Hemiplegia
Department of Physiotherapy, MRIIRS organized a hands-on workshop on NDT/Bobath perspective on January 30 & 31, 2020 for which the resource-person was Dr. Harpreet S Sachdev, a Senior Physiotherapist in Department Of Neurology in AIIMS, New Delhi. The workshop was attended by 40 students from various colleges and hospitals from Delhi and NCR.
The event commenced with an inaugural speech by Dr. M R Rizvi, Director, FAHS. The guest of honor Dr. Arundeep Singh, Principal MRDC gave a motivational speech to students.
Dr. Harpreet explained to the students about the basic concepts and principles of NDT. In the course of two days, he emphasized on assessment and rehabilitation of stroke patients by NDT. He also encouraged the students to try techniques on each other and shared his tips.
Dr. Pooja Anand, HoD, Physiotherapy delivered the vote of thanks and encouraged the students to implement the NDT in treating patients.
