The session focused on various career options available to aspirants after completing the MBA program. The Industry mentor discussed his journey towards the corporate career as a young aspirant of MBA and various decisions that lead to his emergence as a C-suite business leader and industry stalwart.  The webinar enlightened students about the importance of pursuing hobbies, self-leadership, and personal well-being while pursuing the role of an alchemist for self and society at large. He emphasized keeping a bird’s eye view of industry and business realities around causing business transformations.  He enunciated the survival and growth of executives in the current pandemic is dependent on flexibility, adaptability, brand equity, and organization values.

The session focused on specific questions on Human Resource as a career option in the MBA program. The speaker reiterated that HR has gone beyond the walls of employee life cycle management. He shared that he has played a role as a wellness coach, strategic partner, digital associate and HR-oriented information technology expert. He stressed that the expanding role of HR demands a lot of agility, adaptability, learning orientation, and expertise over understanding organizational data related to business performance. He said that investment in self is the best investment that an individual can make. He emphasized knowledge of digitalization, data analytics, business finances, and technological changes while choosing a specialization in an MBA program.

The session kept the audiences engaged with some candid conversations.
