VOICE OF NATURE SKIT COMPETITION

The event VOICE OF NATURE, held on 21^th March, 2017 was celebrated on the occasion of World Forestry Day, organized by Club Environ, Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIU, Faridabad. The honorable judges were Dr.Shruti Vashist (Associate  Professor, Department of ECE) and Dr. Gurjeet Kaur (Associate  Professor, FAS). The event attracted the participation of 25 students in 5 teams from Department of Biotechnology, MRIU. The purpose of the event was to bring together young minds to dramatize the possible reasons of environmental degradation and need of educating all to step forward for environment conservation.

The winners were Mamta, Naman, Nisha, Debashish, Kajal Singla and Kajal Varshney from B.Tech Biotechnology, IV Semester and  the runners up team comprised of M.sc. Biotechnology, II Semester students namely Sharda, Bhavna, Leena, pooja, Gargi. All the participants were awarded with certificates. Special acknowledgement to Dr. Abhilasha Shourie, HOD and Associate Professor,  Department of Biotechnology,FET, MRIU  and Dr. Soma Patnaik, Assistant professor,  Faculty Incharge, Club Environ, Department of Biotechnology, FET, MRIU and the volunteers Khushwant, Gunjan, Divyansh, Abhishek, Sanchit, Shivani, Abhinob, Waali for their contribution in making the event successful.
