Bhutanese Students to study Certificate Course in ‘Bakery and Confectionery’ at Manav Rachna
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) recently welcomed the second batch of 15 Bhutanese students who shall undergo a 12-week Certificate Program in Bakery and Confectionery at the campus from March 9-June 8, 2018. It is noteworthy, that another batch of students had arrived last week to pursue a 12-week long program on the Food & Beverages Service industry.
Through this certificate program, the students will gain elementary knowledge of sources, properties and use of various materials used in baking and confectionery, along with the process of preparing various bakery products. The program shall also inculcate qualities like basic communication, soft skills and interpersonal skills as well as maintaining high hygiene standards. Hands-on sessions will be the part of the program.
