Viva La Vida- a Spanish language carnival was organized by Manav Rachna Centre of Foreign Languages on August 29, 2019 for students of grade 5 to have an insight into Spanish culture.
The theme of carnival was the messiest food festival around the globe, La Tomatina and to provide the cultural aura, everyone was dressed up in Red. The day rolled off on a positive note with the young learners from Manav Rachna International School Sector 14, 21C & Charmwood.
Kids participated in a plethora of fun games such as paint it red, hit the ball (a number game), pick the one (to get familiar with the nationalities in Spanish), post card making/ coloring competition (to present themselves in Spanish), dance (exhibiting body parts in Spanish).
The blend of games, cultural videos, dance, and food were the main highlights of the day. The event culminated by an Español Zumba session where students and faculty members thoroughly enjoyed Zumba on various Spanish high on energy tracks.
The students went back elated and their excited faces made the show a triumph.
