Visit to Sarvodaya Hospital
In pursuit of providing hands on, experiential inputs, Faculty of Management Studies organized a visit to Sarvodaya Hospital for students of MBA Healthcare (2018-20 batch) recently. The students were accompanied by Dr. Priyanka Singh-Chairperson, MBA Healthcare and Mr. Rohit – Faculty Member, MBA Healthcare.
The students were introduced to the working environment and the vision and mission of the hospital along with the specializations they are offering. Post the first introductory session, the Medical Administrator at Sarvodaya Hospital- Dr. Sourabh Gahlote apprised the team from FMS about the expectations and demands of healthcare industry along with a brief explanation of the non-medical departments. Students were then made to visit each department of the hospital to understand the functioning and the infrastructure of the hospital. NABH guidelines which are followed by the hospital, were explained briefly.
The visit was a true learning experience for students and helped students to understand the expectations of the healthcare industry.
