Vadvivaad 1.0- Debate Competition by ECOnomads

ECOnomads, the Economics Society of Manav Rachna organized a Debate Competition, Vadvivaad 1.0 recently. Students of Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC), Computer Science and Engineering, Commerce, Media Studies, Computer Applications, English, Applied Psychology, Social Work and Liberal Arts participated in the competition.

The Topics being debated were:

• Is Income Tax a Charge on Intelligence or Intellect?
• Need of the hour: Men’s Rights in India.

Aditi Jain, a student of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), MRDC was chosen as the ‘Best Debater’ for the first topic and Ayush Dixit, BDS, MRDC for the second topic.
