Three Day Workshop On Basics of Python

Python Programming Language offers a rich set of libraries to solve scientific and engineering problems. Real world problems can be converted into a simulation model to find scientifically relevant solutions, which can in-turn be used in designing engineering products. With this thought, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) has organized a three day workshop on “Basics of Python” from 18th January to 20th January 2018 in association with FOSSEE Cell, IIT Bombay. The workshop has been designed to cover relevant topics which can be used by engineers from all branches, to solve real world problems using Python Programming. The resource person for the workshop is Mr. Arun KP, Project Research Engineer, FOSSEE Cell, IIT Bombay.

Dr. Krishna Kant, ED and Dean, FET, MRIIRS; Dr. Dipali Bansal, Prof. and HOD, ECE; Dr. B S Gill, Executive Director, Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Centre (MRIIC); Dr. Geeta Nijhawan, Prof. and Incharge Academics; Dr. Shruti Vashist, Prof., ECE graced the event and congratulated the workshop organizers Dr. Rashima Mahajan (Associate Prof., FET) and Ms. Jyoti Verma (Assistant Prof., FET).

The workshop has participants from MRIIRS and other reputed institutions which include G D Goenka Univeristy, Gurgaon; Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad; and DXC Technologies Noida.
