Three Approaches in Management Research: A personal reflection
International Education Centre organized a webinar on Management Research with a focus on different approaches to management research and publications in international academic journals. There were around 150 participants.
The expert guest of the day was Dr Hao Tan, Assistant Dean International –Recruitment Faculty of Business Law and Associate Professor in International Business and Strategy. He has published two research books, six book chapters, and over 30 scholarly journal articles, including 19 articles in A/A* journal.
Dr Hao Tan had apprised about different approaches to management research and publications in international academic journals using his own papers as illustrations. He explained about the purpose and contribution of academic research with three theories which were quite informative and relevant to the students.
He also added how a researcher comes up with a good article, he shared his own experiences in management research.
