Technical Club Activity in “Open Source Technology”

Faculty of Computer Applications organized a Workshop on ‘Ethical Hacking’ in the series of Technical Club Activities in ‘Open Source Technology’ on September 11, 2019.

The session was started with the welcome address by the Head of the Department, Dr. Shaveta Bhatia. She welcomed the participants and motivated them to learn the concepts of Ethical Hacking. She guided students to update themselves in different domains of IT to meet the industry requirements.

The Workshop was conducted by Ankit Goswami, Yash Singla and Harshit Singh, Students of Bachelor of Computer Applications under the guidance of Dr. Anupriya Jain and Ms. Sonia Setia. They covered the various topics of Ethical hacking including web layers, Kali Linux OS, Tor Browser, SQL Injection, Phishing and Cloud Security. It was a great learning experience for the students and they requested to conduct such types of workshops in future.
