Take 1 – New Beginnings and College Life
An
Orientation Programme for Non Engineering Students (Applied Sciences,
Management & Commerce, Law & Education) was organized at Manav
Rachna University on July 10, 2019.
The vibrant programme for the
new entrants of Non Engineering courses, commenced with an auspicious
Hawan ceremony on the very first day to invoke the blessings of
Almighty. Manav Rachna University is poised to begin its journey with
the new enthusiastic bunch of students, on the threshold of a promising
life. After submitting the joining report the students went for tree
plantation.
The Hawan ceremony was graced by Dr. I K Bhat, VC,
MRU; Dr Sanjay Srivastava, VC, MRIIRS & MD, MREI; Dr. Sangeeta
Banga, Dean Academics MRU; Dr N.C Wadhwa, DG, MREI; Dr. Kameshwar Singh,
Registrar; Dr. Shruti Vashist, Dean Students Welfare; Prof. Jaideep
Singh, Director Industry Interaction; Dr. Babita Parasher, Dean Faculty
of Education; Dr. Parul Jhajharia, Dean Management; Dr. Pradeep
Varshney, Dean Research; Dr. DK Sharma, Proctor along with HODs and
faculty members from various faculties.
The post noon session was
taken by Dean Students Welfare covering the concept of mentor-mentee,
clan, chapters/societies, CSR activities, projects and competitions,
alumni and awards and accolades won by the MRU students followed by the
presentation by Proctor on anti-ragging and discipline related policies.
As the students embark on a new chapter of life, Manav Rachna welcomes them in the fold of its ever expanding warm family.
