‘Swami Vivekananda Library and Resource Centre’ inaugurated at Manav Rachna University

A state-of-the-art Library and Resource Centre was inaugurated today at the Manav Rachna University campus. The library houses more than 40,000 print and digital books across various genres.

The Swami Vivekanand Library and Resource Centre was inaugurated by Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI; Padamshree Dr. Pritam Singh; Dr Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI in the presence of Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC, MRU; Dr N C Wadhwa, VC, MRIU and Dr M M Kathuria, Trustee, MREI.

The Library offers a range of services for academic and research pursuits including an Audio-Visual room, Wi-Fi internet; Reference & Research Services; and Digital Titles.

While inaugurating the library, Dr. Prashant Bhalla said: “A University is usually described as a community where scholars and teachers are the head, students are the body and the library its heart. If the body is to perform its functions properly and efficiently its heart must be strong and efficient in its functioning. This Library shall be an icon of quality education in its supreme form and shall offer platform for academics, learning and research pursuits”.
