Students of MRIIRS (formerly MRIU) participated in North Zone Inter-University Football (M) tournament 2017-2018 held at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Govindgarh Punjab.

First match was with the K.R. Mangalam university. Second match was with Gurukashi University, Talwandi Sabo.
