Sports Team of Manav Rachna International University excels at MNIT, Jaipur!

The Sports Team of MRIU performed marvelously at All India Technical Sports Tournament conducted by Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur and won a Gold Medal in Football, Silver in Cricket and Basketball and a Bronze Medal in Badminton. 2000 athletes from as many as 40 Universities from across India participated in the Championship.

A ceremony to honour these sportsmen and their hardworking coaches, for their exemplary performances at MST 2017 was organized in the campus by Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director Sports, MRIU. The chief guest of the day was Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI and Dr. N.C Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna International University, who honoured the students with the Trophies and certificates.

Congratulating the young talent on their feat, Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, said, “It is extremely imperative to respect your decisions in order to succeed in life. Be true to yourself and sensitive towards society.” He also encouraged the Students to be tech savvy and use technology for the betterment of society assuring them that the one-of-a-kind high performance training at the Manav Rachna Sports Science Centre can go a long way in giving a tremendous boost to Champions like them.
