Speak for India- Delhi Edition
Department of Students’ Welfare organized HT- Debate 2020
Delhi- NCR Biggest Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition ‘SPEAK FOR INDIA-
DELHI EDITION’ in association with the Federal Bank and Hindustan Times. Speak
for India is a
state-level debate initiative for college students, with the objective
of giving a sound platform and direction to youth’s voice on
pertinent issues.
A preliminary audition was conducted at the campus and the jury members were Mr. Suraj Pratap Singh- Manager, Federal Bank and Mr. Kashyap Kapoor -Manager Marketing- Hindustan Times. Dr. M. K. Soni- Pro-Vice-Chancellor, MRIIRS wished and encouraged students to give their best performance.
A count of 70 students turned up for the preliminary round from different departments. The students received a Certificate of Participation along with T-shirts and food vouchers. The jury was extremely happy with the performance of the students. The selected students will be representing the University at Quarter-Finals.
