Rubber Skill Development Council (RSDC) organized its Annual Awards 2019 at New Delhi to felicitate the best performers in the rubber skilling ecosystem.
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Managing Director, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions graced the occasion as the guest of honor. He quoted, “Education needs to step out of classrooms and should be driven more by real on the job skills. Hands-on experience and adopting new skills and expertise to develop learning systems is what the industry needs.”
Dr. Srivastava also emphasized on the fact that Manav Rachna is contributing in its own way to this national transformation. National Skill Development Corporation signed an MoU with Business Sweden – the national foreign trade association of Sweden. Under the MoU, Kunskapsskolan Education (A Swedish Group of schools) and its Indian partner: Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI under the leadership of Dr. Prashant Bhalla) have joined hands to provide a new-age model that will take vocational training at schools to a new level altogether.
Ms. Sunita Sanghi, IES, Senior Adviser, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship was the Chief Guest, V T Chandhrasekharan, President All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) graced the award ceremony as guests of honor as well.
RSDC awards ceremony not only recognizes the contribution made and excellence achieved towards the cause of skill development but also doubles up as a Summit for all the stakeholders to meet and interact.
