Rally on the theme ‘Say No to Plastic’

Department of English, Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities organized a rally on the theme ‘Say No to Plastic’. The rally was organized to observe Swachhata Pakhwada. It aimed at encouraging students to avoid use of plastics that cause irrevocable damage to the environment.

The students of the Department took part in the rally urging the campus population not to use plastic material in any form. Dr. Maithili Ganjoo, the Dean of FMeH and Dr. Shivani Vashist, Head of the Department flagged off the rally along with other faculty members of the Department. The rally was coordinated by student volunteers Anushka and Abhinav from B.A(H) English, Semester V. The event ended on a note that the students will refrain from unnecessary usage of plastic.
