Press Release: Free EyeCheck-Up Camp at Manav Rachna
On the Valedictory Ceremony of National Nutrition Week 2018, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of MRIIRS organized FreeEye & Health checkup campin association withSpectra Hospital. DrKanhaiya Mittal delivered a lecture on eye care. Guest of Honor Dr. AshitaMunjal supported the program and was felicitated by Dr. SaritaSachdeva, Dean FAS and Dr. Pratibha Singh.
Around 200 patients took benefit of this camp. Everyone was satisfied with the services. Registrar Mr. RK Arora inaugurated the Camp.
Mr. Abhishek Biswas, Founder of Sattvik Foods delivered a lecture on the importance of vegetarianism and the impact of growing population in India. He emphasized on the harmful effects of the processed food industry.
The day comprised Dr. O.P. Bhalla Memorial 5th Inter-School Manav Rachna Nutrition Update Quiz. 16 teams from various schools of Delhi-NCR participated enthusiastically. Agrawal Public School was declared the winner of the Quiz, 1st runner up was VidyaMandir School, and 2nd runner up was KendriyaVidyalaya No 2.
