Orientation Programme for Ph.D. Scholars

The Council for Doctoral Programs (CDP), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies organized an orientation programme for research scholars on 8^th August 2019.

Following Manav Rachna’s tradition, a hawan ceremony for pious beginning was performed in the presence of Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. N.K Chadha, Chairman CDP; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean-Academics, MRIIRS; Brig. V.K. Anand, Registrar MREI; Mr. R.K. Arora, Registrar MRIIRS; Mr. N.K Sharma, Controller of Examinations; and Dr. Nandini Srivastava, Professor, CDP. 

The programme started with lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. A warm welcome was extended to all the dignitaries by Dr.  Parul Gandhi, Ph.D Coordinator, CDP. After that, Dr Naresh Grover gave an overview presentation on the PhD programme throwing the light on milestones to be achieved during the entire tenure of programme. Prof (Dr) N K Chadha extended his welcome to the new batch of scholars and motivated them to complete all the milestones on time. Dr M K Soni, PVC, MRIIRS shared his nuggets of wisdom with scholars and gave his good wishes to them for a new beginning. Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, a pioneer in management education apprised the young audience about the essence of research and advised them to work hard to achieve their goals.

The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks by Dr Indu Kashyap, Ph.D Coordinator.
