Orientation Program, Department of Management and Commerce, MRU

The morning session commenced with  Guest lecture by  Mr. Deepak Goel (ex IITian and UCLA ) who is a serial entrepreneur, investor, startup adviser and has worn multiple hats through his professional journey. He shared his entrepreneurial journey with the young minds and motivated them to master key areas of their life including attitude, relationships, leadership skills, and success.

This was followed with an Introductory session  on CMA (Certified Management Accountant), USA  by Miles Education. Ms. Pallavi Parekh, associate Vice President-Academics from Miles Education (Largest US CPA & US CMA training provider in India) in her interaction  with the BBA program batch of 2017.

Students  were given hands-on experience on ‘creating Email ID’S’, Google sheets and Google Docs in the afternoon session. The session was conducted by Dept of CST and involved various online and offline computer based learning activities;

The Orientation Program, began with a Spiritual Discourse and Meditation session for students,  organized by Dean Students, MRU at T block auditorium.

This was followed with an introductory session on accounting  and US accounting practices  by Ms. Sucheta Kalra, CPA and senior consultant at KPMG. It was an engaging and interactive session for the  students who also interacted with her on the global and national  career opportunities in financial services sectors. Students were appropriately guided  to identify and work on the  crucial areas where they need to work upon in near future.
