Orientation for non-engineering programs at Manav Rachna

The campus was buzzing with laughter and glee, as the FAS, FMS, FCBS, FBSS, FMeH, and FCA welcomed Freshers from the 2018 batch today. The three week orientation program (July 9 – July 31) has been specifically planned to welcome our new members. The students were introduced to their future Alma-Mater through videos and presentations. The activity left a mark on the students as they got a glimpse of the exciting campus life they shall be experiencing in the days to come.

The day commenced on an auspicious note with a Havan ceremony. Students paid tributes to the Founder Visionary, Dr O.P. Bhalla for his exemplary contribution in the development of “Great Professionals & Responsible Human Beings”. The day was full of zeal and enthusiasm. All the Deans, Directors, accompanied by the Heads of Departments warmly welcomed the Freshers and their parents, outlining Manav Rachna’s philosophy, culture, and way of life.

Addressing the students, Dr N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS, said, “We have developed the campus to not only make you all great professionals but also responsible human beings. We empower you through education. The Institute has world class academic and administrative resources in an eco-friendly green campus which provides great ambience for academic pursuits. Manav Rachna has zero tolerance for ragging and various opportunities for learners such as our state of the art facility, Sports Science Centre, Sports Academy, Community Radio and a Career Management Cell. Our objective is not only to provide quality education in contemporary domains but we also strive to make students independent in thought and action and also to inculcate moral values in them.”

Our Chief Patron, Ms Satya Bhalla showered her blessings and good wishes on the students and advised them to work towards success with dedication, honesty, and perseverance. She urged the students to be soft spoken and respectful towards all sections of society across their life.
