The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), organized an AICTE sponsored One Week Online Short-Term Training Programme (STTP) on Machine Learning, from 12th October to 17th October 2020 through the online mode.
A total of about 175 delegates virtually attended the training program across the world. The 16 sessions were highly informative and contributed insights on various advanced and innovative research ideas of Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data Analytics.
The attendees were given exposure to the concepts like Statistics and Probability aspects of Data Science, Data exploration, Feature Engineering, Dimensionality Reduction, Data Analytics, Visualization, Classification, Clustering, Association Techniques, Bagging, Boosting, Stacking Techniques, Recommender System, Medical Informatics using Machine Learning Approaches, Fuzzy systems, Genetic Algorithms, Graph-based Methods for Data Science, Multimodal Data and AI methods, Artificial Neural Network, Convolution Neural Network, Recurrent Neutral Network, Long Short Term Memory, Gated Recurrent Unit, Auto-Encoders, Self-Organizing Maps, Stack Net, Enterprise Cognitive Search Solution with Chatbots, and Search engines, Pattern Recognition, Image processing, Big Data Analytics, Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Hive, and Pig. Participants are provided with practical aspects of Python for Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, ANN, CNN, RNN, Bagging, Boosting, LSTM, NLP, Spark, Tensor flow, Pycaret, and Tableau.
One Week Online STTP program commenced on 12th October 2020 in the presence of Chairperson Prof. (Dr.) Supriya P. The Inaugural session commenced at 10:00 am on 12th October 2020 in the presence of dignitaries such as Sh. R. K. The valedictory session commenced on 17th October 2020, at 3:00 pm in the presence of dignitaries such as Prof. (Dr.) Brijesh Kumar, Brijesh Kumar, Associate Dean Academics, MRIIRS, Prof. (Dr.) Geeta Nijhawan Associate Dean, FET, MRIIRS, Prof (Dr.) Supriya P. Panda, Head, Dept. of CSE, FET, MRIIRS shared the significance and need of the STTP Programme, emphasizing its applicability in varied areas, and presented a Vote of Thanks to all the Dignitaries, Esteemed Speakers & Participants of the STTP program.
All the sessions were highly informative and enlightening. Both delegates and participants appreciated the efforts of the CSE, FET, MRIIRS groups for conducting such an impactful well-organized Short-Term Training Programme.
