One Day Visit to Lumax Industries Ltd, Dahruhera
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) organized a one day visit to Lumax Industries Ltd, Dahruhera for the students of 7th Sem EEE and ECE taking training.
A total of 17 students along with 2 faculty members, Ms Richa Adlakha and Mr. Amit Atri from MRIIRS and Ms Esha from Mitsubishi Electric India went for the Industrial Visit.
The industrial visit started with a presentation session by Mr. Rajvir (Head of HR) along with Ms. Sita and Mr. Rajendra, briefing the students about the latest technologies used for manufacturing of lights for vehicles. It included discussion starting from raw materials, then manufacturing using manual as well as automation (including robots).
It was followed by visit to the manufacturing area as well as the substation installed in the compound. Students were also briefed about Lumax industries throughout the nation.
