Nutrition and Dietetics Department offered services during Autism Cultural Fest

Department of Education and Humanities, MRU organized an exhibition and cultural event on campus to commemorate Autism Awareness Month. FAHS’ Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and other MRIIRS health departments provided their services as a part of the awareness campaign. The event was attended by Ms. Ankita Sharma and Dr. Divya Sanghi, and master’s students.

Parents of autistic children were counseled on their nutritional needs and how to make dietary modifications to improve their child’s nutritional status. Parents were also given information on incorporating dietary meals into their children’s diets, as these children have limited food options.


Music, singing, a fashion display, and concerts were presented by these exemplary children from various schools in Delhi/NCR.
