MRites Shine at Theaterix – IIT Guwahati

Keeping the name of Manav Rachna high in cultural activities, Paigam- the Theater Society of  Manav Rachna comprising the team of 13 students from different faculties and departments won the Second Prize in Theaterix- The Stage Play during ALCHERINGA- Annual Cultural Fest, IIT- GUWAHATI. The team performed their annual production KANJOOS written by Moliere, adaptation by Hazrat Awara, choreography by Himani, directed by Ashish Kumar- Student of BAJMC & co-directed by Chinmaya Madan- Student of CSE- MRIIRS. They gave a tough competition to 10 teams and qualified for finals where only top 4 teams have performed from different Universities and Colleges like TISS Guwahati, IIT- Guwahati.  With this, students received participation certificates and prize money.
