The seventh meeting of the Advisory Board to the Faculty of Law (FoL) was held recently and was unique so far as it was the first time that the Board was meeting virtually.
Chaired by Justice RC Lahoti and held on the Zoom platform, this was perhaps the most well-attended Board meeting to date. In addition to the Advisory Board members, the meeting was attended by all key management personnel from MREI and MRU.
Director, FoL presented a report on the activities organized achievements of students and professors and the exciting events that were scheduled to be held over the next few months. These events include a series of webinars to be organized in association the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and a national online moot court competition.
The Board was also presented with an insight into the online teaching and assessment methods adopted by FoL due to the nationwide lockdown imposed on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.
