Media Students visited NDTV Office
Students
of the Department of Journalism and Mass communication, Faculty of Media Studies
and Humanities, MRIIRS visited NDTV office recently to participate in the shows Politically Incorrect and the famous weekly
flagship show from NDTV
24×7, We The People.
Students interacted with renowned anchors and guest panelists
including Anjali Istwal, Sarah Jacob, Aashutosh, Mamta Kale and some retired
dignitaries from the Indian Armed Forces. Students discussed and asked
questions on the visit of
POTUS Donald Trump to India in the show Politics Ka Champion Kaun and they heard dignitaries from Armed Forces as well as
celebrity guests like Milind
Soman speaking on the recent Supreme Court’s verdict of permanent
commission for women in the Army.
Students also got the opportunity to meet Senior Journalist
and Managing Editor of NDTV
India, Mr. Ravish Kumar and asked him a few questions related to broadcast
journalism. On the whole, it was a very good weekend for the media students
of Manav Rachna as they learned a lot about TV shows, news production, live
recordings and pre-recordings.
