MBA Alumna won 3 medals at ITTF Ecuador International Open Table Tennis Tournament
Manav Rachna congratulates Ms. Ankita Das, FMS Alumni MBA Batch 2013- 15 for winning three medals at ITTF Ecuador International Open Table Tennis Tournament held in Cuenca from 2nd Nov – 6th Nov 2021. Ankita has won the following medals in the tournament:
1. Women’s Singles Silver Medal
2. Women Doubles Silver Medal
3. Mixed Doubles Bronze Medal
Ankita had earlier represented India at the 2012 London Summer Olympics in Women’s singles event. She was also the youngest girl in the Olympics. She had played in the Junior World Championship in 2011, was a singles quarter finalist, and got a fair play award. She made history in that tournament as she got the Most Popular Player Award in the Senior Asian championship. She has also played in the Cadet World Challenge and got the gold medal in the teams.
