The Marketing club of Department of Business Studies had organized a marketing activity by the name of ‘ART MART’.
More than 60 students from the BBA department participated in the activity. The concept behind the ‘ART MART’ is that students had to showcase their creative bent of mind for advertising and marketing related endeavors.
The aim of this activity is to generate ideas of design by encouraging students to participate in groups of 3 -5 students, conceptualize and redesign the logos of any one existing brand given on choice there and give justification for that. Students were given the opportunity to express their ideas by spreading colours of creativity on paper in the form of posters and taglines.
Later, it was followed by AD-MAD ( role play for the television commercial). The concept of the show was unique in the sense that it gave a platform to young talented people to showcase their abilities to perform and be creative through acting and drama on conceptualization.
Each team had to choose a product brand on which they were supposed to do the following:
a. Redesign logo for that with reason
b. Recreate a new tagline for that brand.
c. Create a creative poster of that brand and product.
d. Develop and in-act a television commercial for that product in front of audience.
The performance and creative campaign work was judged on the spot. Judges for the event were Dr. Amit Seth and Ms. Priyanka Verma.
