Manav Rachna University organized a one day workshop on ‘Team Building’

Manav Rachna University organized a one day workshop on ‘Team Building’ for the employees of Varahi Industries. Varahi Industries deals in natural mineral water. The objective of the program was to sensitize the employees about the importance of team building and its utilization in their professional life.

The workshop was conducted in the liveliest manner with a number of ice breakers, hearty discussions and group fun activities. Present on the occasion were Prof. Jaideep Singh, Director Industry Interaction & HoD, Department of Humanities & Language; Dr Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi, Associate HoD, Department of Humanities & Language.

The team was taken through the sessions that covered active participation in team, synchronization in team, communication, bonding and trust. Prof Singh talked about camaraderie skill that plays a significant role in any organization. Building supportive work environment, handling conflicts, strengthening trust and communicating effectively all contribute to the formulation of positive attitudes that leads to the growth and development of an organization. Further, emphasizing the importance of Team Building, Prof Singh highlighted the importance of effective leadership in an organization. Our Honorable Vice Chancellor, MRU and MD MREI, Prof. (Dr) Sanjay Srivastava graced the occasion. He took a session on ‘Moving towards Next Orbit’, in which he emphasized the ‘Nine Attributes of Behaviour’ and their effect on relationship and performance in one’s professional life.

Additionally, the participants also visited the Shooting Range and got first-hand experience in sports activities e.g. Table Tennis, Snooker, Shooting etc. It was a remarkable experience for all involved.
