Manav Rachna organized the 2017 PhD batch orientation program

Manav Rachna organized its 9th PhD batch orientation program. PhD scholars and coordinators attended the program. The dignitaries who graced the occasion were Dr. M K Soni, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MRIU; Dr. Naresh Grover, Dean Academics; Prof. (Dr.) N K Chadha, Chairman Research and the Chief Guest Dr. C S Dubey, Director Campus of Open Learning, DU and Chairman Sports Council of the University of Delhi.

The focus of the program was to sensitize the scholars about the process and approach to the PhD program and the dignitaries’ set-up the roadmap and expectations from the PhD program. Addressing the scholars Dr. Grover detailed the process of the PhD program and ensured the support of the PhD team and their supervisors in their journey to the Doctorate degree completion. Dr. Soni threw light on the legacy and history of Manav Rachna Institution and ensured support to the PhD scholars in their journey. Addressing the gathering Prof. (Dr.) N K Chadha announced the formation of a ‘Research Advisory Board’ as an initiative to extend support to the PhD scholars beyond their regular supervisor allocations. Dr Chadha emphasized the timely completion of the research work along with a high focus on low plagiarism.

Dr. C S Dubey, motivated the scholars to bring passion in their research and focus on the “WHY” component of their research process. Dr. Dubey took them through the research process, challenges and management of their PhD journey.
