Manav Rachna Dental College Observes World No Tobacco Week

Manav Rachna Dental College organized events for Tobacco Cessation Awareness on occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2017. These events were organized on 29^th and 30^th May 2017, respectively by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Manav Rachna Dental College in collaboration with, Lions Club, Lake City, Faridabad and ESIC Medical College, Faridabad.

The events commenced on 29^th May 2017 with dental screening at outreach centers at Pali and Sector 7 by teams from Manav Rachna Dental College. Thereafter, team from Manav Rachna Dental College performed ‘Nukkad Natak’ on Tobacco cessation at Pali and ESIC Medical College OPD reception.

Manav Rachna Dental College also held Poster and Rangoli making and Slogan writing competitions at its campus on 30^th May 2017. Students and faculty from Manav Rachna Dental College and ESIC Medical College participated in the events.

On 31^st a Walkathon will be organized which will begin from ESIC Medical College and culminate at Manav Rachna Vidyanatariksha Head office, NIT 3, Faridabad. Tobacco cessation pamphlets will also be distributed during walkathon.
