Manav Rachna and Faridabad Police celebrate ‘Police Flag Day’

Faridabad, October 26, 2020 – Home Ministry (Government of India) and Haryana Police are celebrating the Police Flag Day from October 21 – 31, 2020, and in this regard the Department of Student’s Welfare, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies and Faridabad Police had provided a forum by the name of ‘Manch’ to emphasize and sensitize all stakeholders, specifically the youth of India.

A series of debates, panel discussion and other events are being organized to discuss the ‘Role of Police in Nation Building’. The first day of the event was held on October 24, 2020, where the students of various academic institutions and schools participated with zeal and enthusiasm.

Dr. N. C. Wadhwa, DG, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions graced the occasion and shared his experiences and learning.

The presence of Shri Rajeev Kumar, ACP Surajkund on this occasion was heartfelt as his dynamism enriched the august presence.

With a literacy rate of 81.7% and a population of more than 14 lacs, Faridabad district of Haryana inspires to become a role model and a smart city to be proud of. At this juncture, an academic institution like MRIIRS and Faridabad Police are committed to working and achieving this goal of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri.  Manohar Lal Khattar.

Also, the community radio Manav Rachna 107.8FM had been working with Faridabad Police to make peace and harmony amongst the society, and is the radio partner for this event of Police Flag Day celebration.

The young minds got the platform to express their views and thoughts about the Role of Police in Nation Building in the form of ‘Manch’. Superheroes in real meaning are those people in uniform who are on duty round the clock from chilly days of winters to hottest days of summer. Ms. Diksha Bhaskar Bhatia from Radio Manav Rachna accentuated the changing role and responsibility of the police force in the 140 years of its existence.
