Literary Quiz Competition (Elizabethan Age)

Department of English, Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities organized a Literary Quiz Competition (Elizabethan Age), as a part of the departmental/ clan activity recently. The event was carried out with the aim to inculcate the love for literature among the students and to encourage them to read about the Elizabethan period which is still seen as the Golden period of English literature.

Seven teams of two students each participated in the Competition. The Quiz had 03 rounds namely Fastest Finger First Round, Question-Answer Round, and Identify the Literary Figure Round (pictorial display). Ms Mitali Mohanty, Assistant Professor, Dept of J&MC, FMeH  judged the event. The winning teams from the contest are:

1. Divya Kala from B.A. (Hons.) English, 5^th Semester (Water Sharks)
2. Priyanka Singh from B.A. (Hons.) English, 5^th Semester (Air Falcons)
3. Anjali from B.A. (Hons.) English, 3^rd Semester (Forest Rhinos)
4. Lisha from B.A. (Hons.) English, 3^rd Semester (Water Sharks)

The judges, students and faculty members of the department enjoyed the competition.
