Under the galaxy of educational experiences at Manav Rachna , the value of research and filtering the important from the redundant is bolstered by competitive activities. SAP Centre of Excellence organized SAP Ecosystem Awareness Quiz on March 27, 2017 to acquaint students with ERP Systems, its Diversity and Applications in Global Business Scenarios. The enthusiastic partakers explored the various verticals of business organizations in context to ERP systems and how SAP helps companies to optimize their different processes by use of advanced ERP systems.
The event brought together students of MRIU and MRU with over 150 participants bifurcated into 28 teams. After the heated preliminary elimination round, 12 teams qualified for further frenzy and feverish round of questions surrounding SAP overview.
The day also witnessed the gracious presence of Mr. Subhankar Pattanayak, Lead- digital marketing arm of the SAP Industries. During his key note address, he apprised the audience with the Content Amplification, Concept of “tweet to revenue” and social media analytics. He also emphasized on best practices to project oneself as a social media professional.
Apart from the fun and recreation and simmering rivalry among students to outperform one another, the event was a platform to showcase tremendous zeal. The young bright students from CSE, MRU won this invigorating contest beating their nearest competitors by a narrow margin. Enthusiastic stalwarts from FCBS, MRIU and ECE, MRIU were declared as first and second runners up respectively. Additionally the event glittered much with the honored presence and vulnerable aura of Dr. V.K.Mahana (Pro VC, MRU), Dr. Naresh Grover (Dean Academics, MRIU), Dr. Dipali Bansal, (Head, ECE, MRIU) and Ms. Gauri Bhasin (Head, CDC). Dr. Mahana motivated the students and stressed upon the fact that every individual is born or has caught up with some unique talent or ability which has the potential to change his/her entire life. Dr. Grover appreciated the stupendous effort put in by the students and apprised students that #ManavRachna is the first institute in Northern India who has a propelling association with SAP and it will multiply it’s verticals in times to come. Dr. Bansal and Ms. Bhasin reiterated the facts that bring into play what talent you possess. The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.
The combination of intellect and gusto put in by the quizmasters for the day, Ms. Stuti Tiwari and Mr. Anubhav Khandelwal was lauded by the audience in high spirits.
The winners and participants took away not only certificates and trophies; they took away a mine-field of success story and an unforgettable memory!
