Invisalign, in collaboration with the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Manav Rachna Dental College, FDS, MRIIRS has launched a University Education Programme that will train and certify postgraduate students to become professional Invisalign practitioners.
This programme launch is a proud beginning for MRDC as the program is the first-of-its-kind in North India and fourth in the whole of India. We look forward to protecting and straightening the smiles and producing highly trained professionals for the future.
The programme was launched in the presence of the Chief Guest Dr. Naresh Grover, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MRIIRS; Prof. (Dr.) Arundeep Singh, Principal, MRDC; Prof. (Dr.) Nitin Arora, Professor and HOD Dept. of Orthodontics, MRDC; and Prof. (Dr.) Puneet Batra, Director of PG Studies; and Invisalign team including Dr. Babandeep Bajwa, Dr. Sunil Bhandari, Dr. Parul Singh, Dr. Durgesh Sharma, and Mr. Vinay Aggarwal as resource people.
The first session included an introduction to the Invisalign technology and how it is being used by Align. This included detailed descriptions of the workings of the Smartforce features, Smart track Materials, Smartstage technology and attachments being used in the Invisalign. This was followed by an overview of the global gallery which is a database of thousands of Invis aligners treated cases and also serves as data for the AI system. Session three covered customer expectations, online evaluation tools for remote monitoring and the treatment submission process.
