Inspire Faculty Excellence Awards 2017
Manav Rachna University (MRU) is an ‘Advanced Academic Partner’ with Infosys Ltd for Infosys Campus Connect Program under their Campus Connect Program (Soft Skills and Technical tracks) since 2009. Infosys Campus Connect Modules are conducted every year to enhance the employability and increase industry-readiness graduates transitioning into the IT industry.
During the “Inspire Faculty Excellence Awards”- an annual event at Infosys, Chandigarh DC twelve faculty members from MRU were recognized as BRONZE and SILVER partners under the ‘Campus Connect Faculty Partnership Model’ in the year 2017. These awards were given in recognition of outstanding efforts of the faculty members in successfully conducting Campus Connect activities at the university and undergoing various training programs conducted by Infosys in the year 2017.
The event was graced by Prof.(Dr) Sanjay Srivastava, Honourable Vice Chancellor; Prof (Dr) Meenakshi S Khurana, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof Jaideep Singh, Director Industry Interaction; Ms Hanu Bhardwaj, Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Infosys; Dr Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi Coordinator Soft Skills, and other faculty members of MRU.
Two faculty members were recognized as silver faculty partners and two faculty members as bronze partners, under the soft skills program. Under technical track, one faculty member was recognized as silver faculty partner and seven faculty members as bronze partners. These faculty members have been enabled by the Infosys Campus Connect Team for imparting training to the students at MRU.
The certificates were distributed to the facilitators (of Soft Skills as well as Technical tracks) on March 26, 2018.
