Industrial visit to JBM
An industrial visit was organized to JBM Industries for 7th-semester Mechanical Engineering industry integrated course students with faculty members Mr. Niraj Bhatnagar, Mr. Sandeep Kaushik, Dr. Devdutt and Mr. Dinesh Chawla on October 13, 2018.
HR Manager Mr.Ankit Rajput & his team of J-3 plant briefed the students about the about company’s safety norms, suppliers, customers, standards, inspection techniques, various manufacturing processes that took place at the plant. All the students and faculties were given safety instructions.
The visit made students learn about the working of robotic cells. Here, students learnt about various robotic working cells, spot welding robotic section, MIG welding robotic section,material handling, part pickup & placing, loading of parts, Press shop operations such as drawing, stamping, knocking, punching and blanking processes, paint shop operations such as loading unloading of parts and coating of parts, non-destructive and destructive testing of parts.
