Indian puppetry to students of Carleton University

Indian puppetry has always been an important part of Indian culture. Faculty of Education, Manav Rachna University organized an awareness session cum workshop on ‘INDIAN PUPPETRY-HISTORY AND MAKING’ with the students of coveted Carleton University, Canada on May 9. The entire session was coordinated by Ms Shreyasi and Ms Bhawna under the able guidance of Ms Sanyogita Sharma, Director Education and Dr Babita Parashar, HoD, Faculty of Education. The session was very interesting and the students thoroughly enjoyed and learned the art of making wonderful hand puppets along with the use of puppetry as a teaching aid.
