IEEE Delhi Section Student Award Ceremony
MRU, IEEE branch hosted the prestigious IEEE Delhi Section Student Award Ceremony – 2K19 edition recently with great joy and exultation. Prof. Prerna Gaur, Chairperson, IEEE Delhi Section; Prof. Rachana Garg, Vice-Chairperson IEEE Delhi Section & SAC Chair; Dr. Manoj Saxena, Secretary IEEE Delhi Section and Dr. Jasdeep Dhanoa, Treasurer IEEE, Delhi Section presided over the ceremony.
The ceremony also witnessed the gracious presence of Prof. I K Bhat, VC, MRU; Dr Sangeeta Banga, Dean Academics, MRU; Dr Shruti Vashisht; Dean Students Welfare, MRU; Dr. Hanu Bhardwaj, HoD-CST; and associate heads of other departments. The following categories of awards were presented:
- J K Pal Memorial Best Student Award
- Outstanding Student Volunteer Award (Awardee: Tridev Nath Tripathi)
- Women in Engineering Student Volunteer Award (WIE SSN Section Coordinator Awardee: Parul Taneja) (Outstanding Awardee: Ujjwal Gaur)
- Outstanding Branch Counselor Award
- Student Network Delhi Section Team Awards
More than 70 Awardees came from various esteemed universities and colleges such as Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi; IIT MANDI; Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology; Gautam Buddha University, Uttar Pradesh; Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology; University School of Information, Communication & Technology; Delhi Technology University; HMR Institute of Technology & Management; Manipal University and many more.
