How to productively use your five years at law school
The Faculty of Law in association with LSAC Global – the administrators of the LSATIndia test, hosted a webinar to assist students in making the best use of their time at law school. The Faculty of Law is a Foundation Member of the prestigious LSAC Global Law Alliance, which is a group of colleges and universities that provide the highest quality legal education to India’s future lawyers.
The panelists at this event were Abhinav BhushanDirector (South Asia), ICC Arbitration and ADR, Singapore, Aakanksha KumarDoctoral Candidate, NLU Jodhpur & former Assistant Professor, NALSAR, and Divya BehlAdvocate, Advani & Co.Shobhit MohanAssistant Professor, Faculty of Law very ably moderated the session and Dr Versha VahiniHead of Department, Faculty of Law, delivered the closing remarks.
This online discussion saw c.100 attendees, mainly students and few law professors from across India. The discussions centred around a wide range of topics that students grapple with at law school, including coping with competition and the accompanying pressure to excel, finding the right internships, the importance of finding a mentor, the use of social media and how to network appropriately.
