Guest Lecture ‘Genome Editing: CRISPER Demystified’
Molecular Biosciences Research Cluster, Department of Biotechnology, Manav Rachna International University organized a guest lecture on the genome editing by CRISPER. It is the latest technology for genome editing. Dr. Sajith Dass, Product Manager, Cell technologies, Eppendorf, INDIA was invited to reveal the cutting edge technology for Genome editing and its applications.
The faculty members, research scholars and many undergraduate and postgraduate students of Department of Biotechnology, Physiotherapy and Manav Rachna Dental College attended the program. Dr. Dass enlightened the audience about the major aspects of using Genome editing tool- CRISPR, its applications, the processes involved and the discussions and debates associated with it worldwide.
The participants were thoroughly motivated and were encouraged to take advantage of newly introduced techniques and advances in their research work.
