GD on ‘Removal of Article 370’: Literary Society

Rehnuma- the Literary Society, Department of Students Welfare, Manav Rachna University organised a Group Discussion Activity ‘Join the Conversation on Removal of Article 370’ recently. This interactive session was attended by 12 interactive participants. The discussion was headed by Deepanshu and Ananya, co-coordinators of the society.

It was a healthy discussion among the participants where they actively put forward various facts and their opinion about the implications and effects of removal of Article 370. Students discussed on how the temporary chaos will be followed by development, more investment, greater safety measures and industrialization in Kashmir and Ladakh region. The status of Union Territory has greater potential for the region as history shows all Union Territories under direct central control have greater access to finances and as a result higher development pace. The discussion was balanced, informative and had some really witty metaphorical comparisons.

Harshita from Law Department, Gauri from Computer Science Department and Smriti from Law Department secured 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd positions respectively.
