Fun-filled and amazing Clan Activities organized

Another day was dedicated to the clan activities at Manav Rachna University under Manav Rachna Life Skill Programme. Various activities were conducted for the students including Food without Fire, GD, Painting Competition and more.

“Food without Fire’ activity was organized for the students. The competition was a great success with nutritious, innovative, and yet so delicious recipes prepared by students from different clans. Judges of the competition- Dr. Shubhra Saraswat (FAS, MRIIRS), Dr. Megha Mittal (HoD Chem, MRU) and Dr. Vinayak (Chem, MRU) appreciated and motivated the students. Rishabh Singla (Forest Rhinos) and Ruchika Batra (Air Falcons) won the competition. Shivam Kumar (Forest Rhinos) & Vishal Chauhan (Forest Rhinos) and Bhawna Chhabra (Wild Cats) & Anjali Garg (Forest Rhinos) stood second and third, respectively, in the competition.

Inter Clan Group Discussion was organized under Literary Vertical. The topic for the GD was “Surgical Strikes a moment of honor for our country or a blindfold for the opposing parties and Pakistanis”. Winners of GD were:

  • 1st- Gauri Verma ( Water Sharks, B.Tech CSE 1st year)
  • 2nd- Ravi Anand (Forrest Rihnos, B.Tech CSE 1st year)
  • 3rd- Ayesha Shah (Air Falcons, B.Tech CSE 1st year)

Paint Ganesha Competition was also organized on the theme GANESH CHATURTHI. Students showcased their creativity and imagination into their art. Beautiful paintings and masterpiece were made by the artists of MRU. Under the Musical vertical of Manav Rachna Life Skill Program, Sing Off was conducted as an Inter Clan Competition. Students had to sing a song in a time limit of two minutes. The winners for the same were Saksham Srivastava, Shikhar Jadaun (B.Tech CST 1st Year) and Rohit Rawat (B.Sc. Phy. 1st Year). The judges of this event were Shubham Sharma and Aryaman Sunsunwal from Music Society.

Students also played sports with great enthusiasm- Badminton Practice Round was conducted. Students played in doubles and singles under the guidance of Mr. Om Bir Singh. They were trained on handling of the equipment, formation of teams, service styles and postures.
